Interesting Learning:

The next week I had found really interesting, we had a guest lecturer named Angela, and she had taught us another kind of version of marketing, I liked how she explained a lot about her life and her experiences which taught me personally on what to do and what not to do, she gave great advice and I had found that I had learnt a lot of aspects about how to start from now…..
I continued listening to Angela talking but then it was time for her to go L……
·         The next tutor we had a lesson with spoke with us about how companies and brands manufacture their clothing I had learnt many negative things on how companies approach their way to make their products such as:
·         Hiring people from countries like Bangladesh, china and India – Underpaying them.
·         Putting the workers in dangerous environments.
·         Workers going through poverty etc…
It had opened a new door for me when I had learnt this as I was partly aware that countries were using other countries to create their clothing but to the extent that the other countries and the workers have to suffer I was not aware of.
How could this affect the brand?
·         It could affect the brands image, many people could find out about how the brand manufactures and treats its workers which could result in the company’s image going downhill.
·         Loss of income.
·         Loss of jobs.
·         Bad Press etc….
How did you find todays overall lesson?
Overall today was very punctual, I had liked what I had learnt and found that this talk from the tutors has really motivated me much more to go out and explore my own research and discover more about what I’m learning about.
